LOS ANGELES, CA (January 21, 2011) – Playwright and NAACP Theatre Award Nominee Jaimyon Parker (Imaginative Reality Productions), and writer/producer & industry pacemaker Max Luces–Tucker (Thorns & Roses Productions), have teamed with celebrated award winning director Dan Martin (director of Ella Joyce’s A ROSE AMONG THORNS) to bring IRIS to the stage.

This Multi-Media event is designed to fuse the best of entertainment by showcasing recording artists each night before the main show begins. This will be the hottest, most innovative platform in the City of Angels.

"Waking up in hell was only the beginning. Now, Iris finds herself on a roller coaster journey through her life's key moments and decisions showing her path down and what she hopes will eventually show her the path back up. Her guide through hell, Bastiel, a self-proclaimed ghastly little demon, whose own tormented past pushes him as he revels in taking Iris on one helluva ride!"

The Cast of IRIS includes: Lauren Elliot in the role of Iris, Addie Daddio as Momma, Marie-Francoise Theodore as Kenya, Sabrina Revelle as Donna and Jaimyon Parker as Bastiel. The two understudies are Felice LeVair and Linda Kang.

The movie “A Simple Promise” became available to movie lovers everywhere. Anyone anywhere with access to a computer can now order the urban drama through any number of E-tailers including Amazon.com, Netflix, Target, Best Buy, Blockbuster, Borders, Sears and many other sites.

But that’s not all. The DVD is also on shelves in select stores across the country, with more retailers expected to add the movie in months to come. Currently the DVD can be found nationally at all Fry’s Electronics, at all Hastings stores, and in all Amoeba records and at most Wal-Mart stores.

It is also available in some Blockbuster stores, mostly those in the South, in cities like

Atlanta and Charlotte . Target and Best Buy are soon to carry the DVD in their stores nationally.
